Our Learn to Play program gives kids the opportunity to develop hockey fundamentals in a welcoming, and supportive environment — on our complete hockey pathway.

Whether your child has never been on skates or is taking their first steps in the sport, our trained coaches create spaces where kids can learn, grow, and discover the joy of hockey.

  • Not at all! Learn to Play is designed for beginners. Our coaches work with each child at their own pace, whether they're stepping on the ice for the first time or have basic skating skills.

  • Full hockey equipment is required (helmet, skates, gloves, pads, stick). If you need assistance acquiring equipment, we can support alongside Sport Central. Mention Sport Central in the "How did you hear about the Wolves?" Section.

  • Absolutely, there is no commitment or required sessions. Our coaches meet each athlete exactly where they are for the perfect learning, and supported environment to learn to play hockey.

  • Our coaches are trained to support children with different comfort levels. We create a welcoming environment where every child can participate at their own pace. Many of our most confident players started out nervous!

  • No. Learn to Play focuses on skill development, fun, and building love for the game. This is a recreational, learning-focused program.
